In the trailer, players will witness the drama unfold as they are put into the role of bush pilot Logan James after he survives a horrific plane crash that leaves him in a remote corner of the Alaskan high country. Injured, isolated and in the middle of a hostile wilderness, Logan is cut off from all hope of rescue and it’s up to players to guide him to safety in his epic battle against deadly predators and the frigid elements of nature.
You’ll also have the chance to play the game prior to release in Cabela’s ‘Adventure Starts Here’ Mobile Tour. The Adventure Starts Here Tour gives gamers and outdoor enthusiasts the chance to preview Cabela’s Survival: Shadows of Katmai and Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012 as it makes its way to Cabela’s and Walmart’s around the country. Cabela’s Survival: Shadows of Katmai is out on November 1, 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. The game is available with the innovative Top Shot Elite wireless controller on Xbox 360 and PS3 and a peripheral on Wii, or it can also be purchased separately. The game is rated T for Teen by the ESRB.
