One of my absolute favorite cartoons back in the day was Voltron. I mean used to love this cartoon! I remember making tons of drawings of the lions (I wish I still had them) and always asking my parents for the full metal robot. They never did and they got me the smaller plastic version, *womp womp*. But I moved on and always reminisced about that awesome show. Now watching those old cartoons again on Netflix I see that while the animation still looks cool the story-lines and voice acting aren’t as awesome as I remember them. So it may be a good thing that Voltorn is getting a rebooted series that will be on Nickelodeon this Spring! The Official Voltron Facebook page has released some storyboards and art from the show. The lions have a nice cleaner look but still retain some of the classic features. I can’t wait to see actual footage from the show. Check out the new images in our gallery.
