So I was browsing my photos on Facebook, when BOOM I see this really strange looking thumbnail. I mouse over and see Mario Kart. My first reaction was “What the heck is this?” After clicking it I realized I was on Jon Burgerman’s photo page. It seems that he built a mini course in what looks like his studio. It looks like it’s a bunch of different courses but I could be wrong. I do see a Raphael TMNT! There looks to be some pretty sweet ramps in the courses too! Very cool Jon, very cool! Its always nice to see artists that love video games, even if it may not be as much as me… it’s still nice to know that they like them a bit.
Bifuteki thought about doing a real life go kart inspired Mario Kart, but have yet to find a go kart place that would let us throw shells and cardboard boxes out of our carts. We’re still looking for a place though.
