At this weekend’s ARC WORLD TOUR 2022 Finals, Arc System Works America, Inc. announced the upcoming Season Pass for action-packed fight game DNF Duel! The Season Pass releases Summer 2023 and will include Dungeon & Fighter favorite Spectre as its first DLC playable character!
In addition, DNF Duel will soon be playable on-the-go for handheld players on Nintendo Switch starting April 20, 2023!
The Season Pass for DNF Duel will be available this summer for PC (Steam®) and consoles (PlayStation 4® and PlayStation 5®). This will include a range of downloadable content, including the Spectre DLC character release, a New Awakening system with magical Clear and Gold Cubes that power Awakening Effects to enhance skills, and a new battle system! Spectre will bring the DNF Duel competition its 17th playable character to date, including her obsession for revenge against the De Los Empire, high-level mobility in combat, and an onslaught of quick strikes using signature swords Obsidian and White Fang. Spectre will be a purchasable individual character DLC as well as available for players who purchase the Season Pass.
Season Pass content will release throughout 2023, bringing more DLC playable characters and another new battle stage for players. Season Pass and DLC pricing will be announced at a later date.
Based on publisher Nexon Korea Corporation’s blockbuster Dungeon&Fighter IP, DNF Duel released to wide acclaim in 2022 for its reimagining of Dungeon&Fighter’s iconic classes into a 2.5D fighter with unique combat mechanics and strategic fighting. The game is co-developed by Arc System Works and NEOPLE INC. using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4 to ensure realistic graphics and gorgeous cutscenes as players battle it out.
Further DNF Duel game features include uniquely designed characters and multiple stories from the world of Dungeon & Fighter, as well as a deeply immersive fighting experience and intuitive command system that allows beginners access to all the fun and action of Dungeon & Fighter. Players now choose from 17 Dungeon & Fighter characters – including Spectre, Berserker, Crusader, Dragon Knight, Enchantress, Ghostblade, Grappler, Inquisitor, Kunoichi, Launcher, Swift Master, Troubleshooter, Vanguard, and more – each with unique skills and personality.
DNF Duel is available now for PC via Steam as well as PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game will become available for Nintendo Switch on April 20, 2023.
