I got to play Button City, on the Playstation 5, if you don’t know what Button City is…. an adorably colorful narrative-driven adventure about friendship and community from Subliminal Gaming, will bring the fight against evil corporations to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Steam in partnership with WINGS Interactive.
LIKEs:
- Ease of play – there’s nothing super complicated about the game, which sometimes is really nice to experience (not everything has to be super hard to play to enjoy)
- The fun side missions – I’m obsessed with trying to get all the garbage
- Character design and quirky references – I love that!
- Fun puzzles (that were just challenging enough)
- OST was great as well
DISLIKEs:
- Some of the hit markers for the doors don’t always trigger
- A lot of back and forth with some missions – go to X and then go back to Y to go back to X again (wish there was a fast travel)
Overall I loved the game, I played through the game on stream.
