Today is a big day. I’m excited to announce that Don Mattrick will be joining us as Zynga’s new CEO and member of our Board. I wanted to let you all know why I made the decision to recruit Don and what I think it means for all of us.

Honestly I don’t know how I feel about this. One, Zynga just laid off a shit ton of people, last month, was it to just clear out house to make way for his salary? Two, I guess he fits in where he can get in, since Zynga loves that free to play motto, and since Mattrick is coming from Microsoft it makes sense, right? I wonder how former employees feel about this move by Zynga.
