It’s been seven long months since the release of PixelJunk 4am, which is a long time to keep something under your hat when we’ve been –as you might expect– in the eternal process of cooking up new things. But today is a special day. Q-Games is happy to announce the birth of our new PixelJunk developer’s blog which, as of this moment, is live and ready for your perusal.
BONUS: The arrival of this press release coincides directly with the first details of our next, upcoming PixelJunk game, as well. Codenamed PixelJunk 1-6 (in line with the series’ continuity), this game is different than anything else in Q-Games’ history in that it’s the first game being developed specifically for the PC.
This is certainly a new thing for Q-Games (wonder if that means no console support?? I doubt it). They’re still in the early, pre-alpha stages of development, but we hope to see a bunch of you when GDC rolls around.
