Oh I just love this time of year, it’s like Christmas for gamers and it looks like Sony is beginning to show of their stocking stuffer the NGP. First up is the portable Uncharted game for the NGP, Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Sony showed off some of the premier titles to a slect few in the press just so they can get a feel of the system. The team behind ‘Golden Abyss’, Sony Bend, emphasized that they worked very closely with Naughty Dog to keep the game true to the Uncharted universe. This entry in the series takes place before the first Uncharted game and is a stand alone story. Although it is separate from the main series Sony Bend worked hard at making the game look great by using the same motion capture system and studio that is used by Naughty Dog and voice actor Nolan North is reprising his role as Drake. The game is sounding like it will be the game to really show off the NGP and I can’t wait for some more footage of it at E3.
