New Era EMEA is proud to announce the release of ‘Artist Series’; an ongoing collaborative program with some of the most unique, talented and expressive artists in Europe. To compliment the Fly Your Own Flag brand campaign rolled out globally in 2010, the Artist Series promotes self-expression in all aspects of design.
The first collection will play host to renowned UK-based illustrator Jon Burgerman, who has worked with the likes of Pepsi, Puma and Kid Robot in creating a mix of one-off, vibrant designs on varied media. His colourful, neo-primitive doodles have captured the creative eyes of journalists, artists and streetwear enthusiasts alike. Having worked with New Era and Artoyz in the past, Burgerman’s continued work will further cement a flourishing relationship with the brand.
For the first in the Artist Series collection, Burgerman has designed seven one-off 59FIFTYs and snapback caps featuring some of his best-known illustrated characters. To compliment these designs, there will be a dedicated in-store presence and sticker collection to launch the partnership.
