Splinter Cell Trilogy coming to PlayStation in HD & 3D 1

Do you like Splinter Cell? Do you like 3D? Well then you are in luck gamers because Ubisoft is bringing the original 3 Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell titles to the PlayStation 3 with an HD 3D  update. This upgraded trilogy is already starting off on the right foot as it was revealed on the PlayStation Blog that the team is working from the PC versions of the games which had more content and more graphical detail than the PlayStation 2 versions. The games with also get stereoscopic support for 3D TV’s and there will also be Trophy support. Unfortunately the co-op and multiplayer components will not be included in this retooling. While no date of release has been set the games will be released packed in together on a Blu-Ray disc in retail stores or available separately as downloads on the PlayStation Network Store. We’ll report back as to when a release date is announced but in the meantime enjoy some screen shots from the trilogy.
