Greetings gamers and welcome to this preview of “Deus Ex Human Evolution”. Those of you that are not familiar with the series “Deus Ex” was set in 2050 in a dystopia world, an anti-terrorist coalition agent named JC Denton uncovers an old conspiracy while battling terrorist threats which is turning the world into utter chaos. The conspiracy goes into the Hong Kong triad, Majestic 12, and the Illuminati. The next sequel to follow in 2003 is “Deus Ex Invisible War” which takes place 20 years later. The story takes place after “The Collapse” happened; which was a catastrophic event that threw the world in turmoil. Since then everything is being rebuilt and now you take the role of Alex D. who is a trainee for Tarsus Academy. The difference in this sequel from the first game is choice; you as Alex get to make plot choices that will affect the events of the game.
The new prequel that will be coming out in 2011, it seems to have great potential especially being an action role-playing shooter. I have to say I am interested in the human augmentation aspect of the game. This being the first stage before they got into Nano-tech in the later years; I find it promising.
