Atari announced today that The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena has a release date. This is the next chapter in the Riddick series console wise, which will gave you the same kill or be killed action as the first Riddick game gave you. This game is set to be released here in the US on April 7th for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. The demo should be out sometime next month for both systems. I guess the developers feel that since we are in a recession that they will package two games in one. Those who purchase The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena game will also get a fully updated version of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, with more multiplayer options.
With the announcement, Atari has also launched the website for the game. I am really looking forward to this game. I really enjoyed the first one and really hope this is not a disappointment.
