After checking out Joey’s Monster alphabet, we thought to shoot him an email and get an interview cause we liked him that much!!

So here it is!!

Age? Almost 30.

Hometown? High Point, NC

Where do you live now? pets? Charlotte, NC. I’ve got an invisible cat.

What do you do for money? (aka job) I’m a graphic designer and an illustrator.

Who’s your hero? Walt Disney

Favorite thing to do when you aren’t working? I love to play video games.

Favorite color? Too many to choose from.

What inspires you, other than video games? I follow a lot of history about Walt Disney. I think his career is very interesting, and so well chronicled. There are so many things anyone can learn by studying Disney’s footsteps.
What’s your favorite show on TV? (if Heroes was your answer: What would your power be?) The Office. (That’s what she said)

Favorite console game? I got into Animal Crossing a few years back, before the age of World of Warcraft. I also secretly enjoy Grand Theft Auto, but refuse to have the game in my house. Maybe when the kids are older.

Favorite handheld game? I really liked “Advance Wars” for the GBA. It was really underrated, and a beautiful game.

Favorite movie? Ghostbusters.

Favorite artist? I’ve always admired Peter DeSeve, the folks at eBoy, Trevor Van Meter, Ward Kimball… The list goes on and on.

Where do you see yourself in 5 yrs as an artist? I’ve never thought that far in advance. Each day is a new opportunity.

One talent you would love to have that you don’t have now? I wish I could fly.
