That’s right someone is already in line for the GOW 3 release that happens next week Wednesday. His name is David “Ultimizer” Tyson, he’s a Mortal Kombat player from the NYC area that I’ve meet and hung out with a bunch of times. Right now David is on Day 2 of his 6 day camp out for the last game of the Gears of War series. I think he’s got a lot of heart, but at the same time he’s nuts!
His latest update on Facebook was:
David Tyson If you haven’t heard already I am camping for the Gears if War 3 launch at NYC, am I FIRST in line and will camp for the next six days, and I’m currently on Day 2. Spread the word and Get Hype!!
I’ll keep you guys posted once I get more info from David out in the trenches.

The only thing that comes to mind is: Why didn’t he just pre-order?
The whole point is, that hes showing his dedication to the series by camping out. Showing hes a LOYAL fan. Pre Order just means you can walk in to a store an that store SHOULD have a copy of the game for you. Not always the case because I have seen instances where pre orders out numbered the shipment allotment.
I guess any publicity is good publicity. Wish I had thought of it sooner!

I think its funny how people are so quick to judge. Not all people but the majority. He wants to camp out so be it, how is this any different than people camping out for Harry Potter, or Star Wars? I say good for him some people have the luxury of not working, I wish I could have that luxury again!
