After a successful run with their Countdown Packages, Jordan Brand is releasing a new set of packages to collect this year. What you see there is the Air Jordan V – Raging Bull Package, consisting of two colorways. The first is a Red Suede Base with a Black Midsole and a 3M Tongue. The second is a Black 3M Base with Black Laces and Red Accents. With a supposed release date of May 30th, these are sure to fly off store shelves.
March is one month i love. It comes second to February since that is my birth month. The thing with March is that the weather starts to get warmer, the trees get green again. You see more birds out, and I can play with the squirrels in the park. These are just some of the things that make me love March. The other reasons are well… more sneakers and games are released now. Now that the holiday/winter season is over. I will be spending a lot of time and money picking up games and sneakers. This month we have a few pairs of sneakers worth picking up.
As many of you know, the Coraline Dunks were big. The limited edition ones that came with the props from the movie, were given out to a select few. The other edition of the dunks are suppose to be released this month. Not sure if you guys know, but at the end of the movie there was a code that you were supposed to enter into Coraline’s website, to enter for a chance to win the second edition of the dunks. I believe March 1st is going to be the day they are going to announce the winners. I have my fingers crossed!!
March 1st, 2009 will mark the premiere of Sneaker Con in New York City.
Sneaker Con is a Buy/Sell/Trade sneaker and apparel convention, event participants will have access to thirty vendors who will carry some of the hottest sneakers and gear on the market now. Don’t Forget. ROCK HEAT!

Supreme Spring/Summer 2009 preview is on High Snobiety – I personally like Supreme and I like this season’s line. There are a couple of things that I like, particularly the shorts with the bikes on it which remind me of the old Tommy Hilfiger line in the early 90s, with busy prints. I also like the skate decks that they are previewing. They are super super shiny!

I was browsing the web for new sneakers that I would love to be released. These are one pair of them. Hopefully these won’t follow the same trend that Nike has been doing with retro’s. Let pray they make them better then the past fusions. From what I see it seems like these will be released sometime in May. If you’re into kicks we all know that these dates tend to change.
Last month Nike released one here in the US. This month Asia gets their own. This is the same colorway that Kobe was wearing the night he scored 61 points on the New York Knicks. The Nike Zoom Kobe 4 X Asia edition comes with an extra “X” which indicates the sole is made of “XDR” – Extra Durable Rubber for you to play longer on court. Slated for a Summer ’09 release, Nike is bringing back their famous splatter design to be featured on these Nike Dunk High Premiums. With a combination of Varisity Red, Neutral Grey, Hot Red, and Black with a White splatter effect on the back that gives the effect that it is coming off the midsole, you can be sure these will be in high demand. Definitely a pair I’ll be picking up.
Japanese brand Onitsuka Tiger celebrate their 60th Anniversary this year. To mark the event, they have partnered with NY based PandaPanther to create a video that explains the story behind the zodiac calendar.
