Review: Transformers Dark Of The Moon

It has already been established that we are not alone in the universe, but what seems to not get through the minds of humanity is that we are not invulnerable to outer world attacks. I want you to ask yourself, what would you do if the world was under a great attack and how would you react to the opposition? This is the third installment to the Transformers movie storyline in Dark of the Moon. This time the battle has become far more greater than any of us could imagine!

Review: Infamous 2

If there was a time where you were torn between right and wrong, what would be your course of action? I have to admit, I struggle with these feelings almost every day when it comes to how people act in this world we live in. In the case of Cole MacGrath, being a hero has a lot of ups and downs. I welcome you to Infamous 2 with the same choices, but with upgraded powers, new enemies and dealing with your nemesis The Beast. I would suggest putting on some non-conductive attire because this review will shock you something fierce!

E3 2011: Devil May Cry

The Devil May Cry series gets a new look with what seems to be the same play style. This time Dante gets a more punk fashion style with a more bad attitude, instead of the pretty boy eating pizza like many of you are used too. I do hope that this new version shows us something a bit different from the other titles besides a black hair do and a more emo outlook. Enjoy the trailer below gamers!

E3 2011: Capcom: Asura’s Wrath

A nice new trailer for Asura’s Wrath from E3 showing of what Capcom is bringing to the “revenge’ genre. In this trailer, you get a quick story on betrayal and 12,000 years of rage bottled up and waiting to be unleashed on the gods that banished him. It is time for Asura to rise up and unleash all his fury, so he will find peace once again. I happy show off this interesting trailer to you, so please enjoy!

E3 2011: PSVita: Virtua Tennis 4

The new PSVita has been revealed and of course we must talk about the games to be expected when the system launches this fall. The titles look very interesting and for our sports we have Virtua Tennis 4 coming from Sega. If you have played the series through the years you would know that this was the main entertaining tennis series out since the dreamcast and now we shall have it as a portable once again. Here is more information from Sega team:

“We are delighted to announce Virtua Tennis 4 and confirm the development of four further titles for the NGP, illustrating our strong support and excitement for the new platform,” said Mike Hayes, CEO of SEGA Europe and SEGA of America. “Our line-up features all new adventures for some of our most loved SEGA IP, in addition to extremely innovative and purpose built new IP – all taking full advantage of the unique gameplay opportunities provided by the NGP.”

“With Virtua Tennis 4 on NGP the team have embraced many of the features that the new hardware is capable of, including the high-definition graphics, Touch Panel control, network functionality, motion sensing system and the camera,” commented Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing at SEGA Europe and SEGA of America. “The way the team have been able to implement this brings the Virtua Tennis series to a whole new level on NGP.”

No tennis title would be complete without the world’s top stars, and there are 22 to choose from in the game, including Federer, Nadal, Murray and Djokovic, but Virtua Tennis 4 really comes into its own when showcasing the technology the NGP has to offer. On top of front and rear Touch Panel controls used both on and off court, gamers will also be able to play the whole game with classic pad controls. NGP’s Party function makes the World Tour Map and Online Mode fully social experiences where gamers can track their friends progress, chat, share stats and comments, and challenge people to online matches.

Add to this some exciting customization features using the NGP Camera, such as customizing your character with a photo of your own face, plus a special Touch Versus Match which allows two players to battle on the same NGP. Virtua Tennis 4 promises to bring tennis on handheld consoles into the next generation.

Thank you all for checking out our coverage during this E3 week, stay frosty!

Things We’re Diggin’ Alice: Madness Returns Ebook App

If many of you only thought Alice: Madness Returns was only limited to the consoles, well you will be surprised by this information. The game will be an Ebook app coming soon so you don’t only get to play the game, but read the interesting story on your ebook readers. The American McGee story will be hitting the app stores soon and the ebook will bridge the gap between the first game and the sequel. I like this idea, it will give gamers and basically anyone interested in American McGee’s story for Alice a more in-depth look to her story. The information is coming from PadWorx and EA so please enjoy the extended information:

Designed to bridge the gap between games American McGee’s Alice and Alice: Madness Returns, the storybook app introduces readers to the world of Alice as imagined by acclaimed game designer American McGee, recapping the events, characters, and environments from the first game while setting the stage for the visionary world of Alice: Madness Returns.

“It was an amazing experience for us to work with EA and American McGee’s company Spicy Horse on such an intensely realized project,” said Jeffery Alan Schechter, Creative Director and President of PadWorx Digital Media, Inc. “American McGee’s Alice is a legendary title in the game industry, and just being mentioned in the same breath is a real honor.”

“We needed a partner who could bring the incredible story and styling of Alice: Madness Returns to life, we wanted to set the bar for what a free interactive storybook experience could be, and we needed it done fast,” said Ben Swanson, Online Marketing Manager at EA. “PadWorx stepped up and not only delivered a beautifully intense book in record time – just six weeks – they also simultaneously developed the book for iOS, Android, and even a Flash version that’s playable from inside our Facebook page. These guys are rock stars!”

PadWorx Digital Media, Inc., a leading developer of interactive, immersive eBooks for tablet devices, worked closely with game developer Spicy Horse to create what has been described as the most intense reading experience ever on a mobile device. Rated 17+ by iTunes, the Alice: Madness Returns Storybook is a free download and is both a prequel and a companion to the upcoming EA game Alice: Madness Returns.
