eBoy’s FixPix [iPhone APP]

FixPix

eBoy was founded in 1997 by Kai Vermehr, Steffen Sauerteig and Svend Smital.
“We started working with pixels because we loved the idea of making pictures only for the screen. It’s the best way to get really sharp and clean looking results. Also, handling pixels is fun and you are forced to simplify and abstract things, which is a big advantage of this technique.”

For those of you that are missing the Jon Burgerman thing in Brooklyn, there is luck in your life!  There will be another Jon Burgerman signing at Kidrobot on Feb 19th from 6-8 PM!  I am one happy camper because me and David are rolling to the David Horvath signing and release of Bossy Turtle @ Yoyamart.  There is a god! And he wants me to spend lots of money on toys.

What to expect from us this month

I thought I would update the readers on what to expect this month.

We are going to be doing a feature on the artist who did the L4D Valentines!   That should be coming soon, we’re working on the questions that we want to ask her.  I’m very excited to be doing that cause all of her artwork is adorable.

We are going to do some reviews on DSi ware games, as two of our editors (Dre and David) are now proud owners of the this lovely gadget.  Ironically they both got them as gifts.

Plenty of coverage from New York’s Comic Con, that’s going to be this weekend.  Hopefully we can get some giveaway stuff too!! So stay tuned for that!

Oh, and its fashion week next week!  So hopefully there will be glimpses of the new sneakers coming out this year too!

So spread the word about bifuteki!

I was browsing NOTCOT, and came across this artist Chris Hosmer who does tape drawings.

I highly recommend people checking out his work.  It’s very interesting to see art done with just a simple household item like tape!
