Mortal Kombat pros including SonicFox and players from Noble eSports, EVB Gaming, Critical Reaction and Circa eSports will fight for the ultimate fatality in the StreamMe Kombat Cup starting Oct. 23, 2016.
The Kombat Cup will run weekly from Oct. 23, 2016 through Jan. 29, 2017 dishing out weekly prizes. The event will have free open registration every Sunday startingOct. 16 which will allow players to enter the qualifier bracket that takes place the following Sunday.
The top eight players from each qualifying tournament will advance to the finals which will take place on Wednesday. Each weekly winner will receive a $450 USD cash prize as well as league points that will be distributed among the top sixteen fighters, raking in a total of $10,000 in prize money. The top player at the end of the season will win the ultimate prize which includes an all-expenses paid package to EVO 2017.
