Despite not selling as many units as God of War, and not getting a sequel I am absolutely thrilled to see Heavenly Sword continue to get love! I loved the game and I think Nariko is one of the best female video game characters so it is really great to see that Blockade Entertainment and Sony are reintroducing Nariko’s story in film format. The film will have Anna Torv (now well known from the show Fringe) returning to voice Nariko, and Alfred Molina will now voice King Bohan (original actor Andy Serkis was unable to return as Bohan). The film will be available digitally, physically (on Blu-ray and DVD) and will be release theatrically in select markets this 2014.
