A new collabo from PixelJunk creators, Q-Games and music makers, High Frequency Bandwidth. It’s a third album inspired by a game in the PixelJunk series called “Sidetracks: Music from Sidescroller”.
Sidetracks: Music From Sidescroller” provides an ingenious new coda to the Shooter story about a heroic rescue squad saving a besieged mining expedition on an alien planet. After a long battle, the heroes are on their way home, occupying their time playing side-scrolling computer games, reflecting on recent tumultuous events in a state of weightless melancholy or calm.
The new album reimagines Shooter for the post-battle journey home by referencing Shooter moments to create something fresh: boasting the six tracks from Sidescroller, plus four exclusive new tracks.
“Sidetracks – Music from Sidescroller” is out 25th June 2012 on Projector Room Records– distributed by AWAL. it will be available as MP3 download and FLAC in all good online music stores.
