CES 2012: Life-Phorm, gadget or mini killing machine?

I don’t know how to feel about this.  I’m all about gadgets, but this looks like it’ll kill me in the middle of night if I don’t sleep with one eye open.  I do like the red colorway though.

CompuExpert, a distributor of innovative products, today announced they have partnered with Lethal Protection to bring the new, widely anticipated Life-Phorm mobile accessory to retailers. The Life-Phorm, a more affordable version of the award-winning Life-Phorm Pro, will make its debut at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show in the Lethal Protection booth in South 4 Upper Level #36076.

The Life-Phorm is an innovative way to hold all your mobile electronics, an all-in-one positioning device for tablet computers, smart phones and cameras at an affordable price. It has the ability to change shape and grab onto nearly anything, allowing users to be hands free anywhere. Using the same innovative clamping system as the Life-Phorm Pro, the Life-Phorm is designed for people who want the versatility but don’t require military-grade materials.

The Life-Phorm Pro was recently named an International CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree. Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 32 product categories. It will be on display at the Lethal Protection booth at CES, and also in the Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Showcase in the Venetian Ballroom at the Venetian Hotel. Lethal Protection will be making a presentation at Innovations on Wednesday, January 11 at 9:30am.

The Life-Phorm is expected to ship to retailers throughout North America beginning in April 2012. To see it in action, please visit www.lethalprotection.com
