Well it looks like all systems are GO on the new Silent Hill sequel Silent Hill: Revelations 3D (*grrrr). Official news has come out that principal photography has begun on the film, and two actors have been announced. The lead character of Heather Mason will be playing by actress Adelaide Clemens (seen above to the right). Adelaide will be joined by actor Kit Harington whose character has yet to be named. Acorrding to director Michael Bassett’s blog on the choice of Adelaide as Heather:
“What I can tell you is that I did camera tests yesterday with her and she looks absolutely awesome. I’m sure you guys are going to just fall in love with her. Tough but vulnerable and capable of delivering a knock-out performance.”
It sounds pretty good to me SO FAR. And I must say that from the one image we have of Clemens in “Heather mode” she does look the part. Time will tell if the rest of the film does the game justice.
I wrote about this on my page today!! I LOVED the first movie, even though I never actually played through the original game. I LOVED SH3, so I’m HYPED as hell to see this!!! I’ve been waiting YEARS for this movie!!!!
I’m a huge fan of the series and I thought the first movie was great…I am looking forward to this sequel but as a die hard fan I have to remain pessimistic about it. I hope it doesn’t get screwed up.
