Wow! This new casting news is pretty surprising but it’s not completely unwelcomed (at least not from me). Producers Don Carmody and Samuel Hadida have announced that Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean and Deborah Kara Unger are returning for Silent Hill: Revelations to reprise their roles as Rose, Christopher, and Dahlia respectively. Their casting shines some more light on how this movie will blend the events of the first film with the plot of the third game. Oh and if you don’t know the plot of the new film here’s a little refresher:
“For years, Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.“
Davis Films have also released a photo from the set of the film featuring Mitchell as Rose (seen above). All this news is making me antsy for some kind of teaser trailer. Come on people momma needs her Silent Hill fix!
