I Got Next is a free documentary on the fighting video game scene created by Ian Cofino (with much support from my friends and family). It originally started as my senior project at Purchase College, School of Art and Design, and has grown to something much bigger thanks to the dedicated and passionate players in the community. Originally envisioned as a short documentary, I Got Next has grown into a feature length production, which will see two releases, a short cut in May and a longer cut in the winter of ’09. – I Got Next Movie.com
I’m a HUGE fan of the Street Fighter Series so when I heard of this documentary I needed to let others know about it. There’s a bunch of top Street Fighter players interviewed in the movie, such as Legend Justin Wong from New York, Gootecks from SoCal, ComboFiend from SoCal, Long Island Joe from New York, Marn from Texas, and that’s just to name a few. I’ve yet to actually enter any tournaments, but I’m sure that after I watch the documentary that I’ll be at the next one.
