Review: Sket One Buckeye Rot

DSC_0612.JPG

The people over at Wheaty Wheat Studios were nice enough to send us some of the Buckeye Rot by Sket One.  They were first previewed at the NYCC 09, and I instantly loved them! Especially because I love tomatoes a lot, especially KETCHUP… mmm KETCHUP!

Read the review after the jump… Anyway back to the subject at hand, we got the complete set, the red colorway and the black limited colorway!  I love the packaging on these rotten tomatoes, they come in a wooden crate, which is quite heavy.  I was expecting the Buckeye to be super heavy because of the weight of the package, but when I opened him up and got passed all the raffia, the toy itself was quite light!

Final thought: If you missed it at NYCC, and still wanna get it, get it!!  Cause its a tomato, cause it can flip the bird, and cause of the awesome packaging.

The body of the Buckeye reminds me of a rubber ducky, because of the hole in the bottom of the toy. The toy itself, comes with two sets of hands and knives!  One set is of the middle fingers, which I love, and the other set of hands are fists, these hands also let you add the knives! I didn’t get a chance to charge the black colorway to see how it looks in the dark, as it’s suppose to be GID. But I have been busy attempting to redo my apartment (which is not getting anywhere). I’m really drawn between the two colorways, I love the original colors, red and green, but at the same time I love the black colorway ’cause he looks sooo bad ass. Check out the other pics!!
